iPhone Ultra: Expansive Design, Flexible Performance

Engineered for users who want the productivity of a large-screen device in a pocket-friendly form factor, the iPhone Ultra (commonly referred to as the iPhone Fold) is rumored to introduce Apple’s first foldable iPhone experience. With a 7.76-inch internal LTPO OLED display, a compact 5.49-inch cover screen, powerful 2nm A20 Pro silicon, and a refined ultra-thin folding design, it is built to bridge the gap between iPhone portability and tablet-scale immersion.

Ultra-Thin Foldable Architecture

The device is rumored to feature a Titanium and Aluminum frame with a liquid metal / amorphous-alloy hinge mechanism for an exceptionally slim folding profile. When unfolded, it measures approximately 120.6 × 167.6 × 4.5mm; when folded, it becomes a compact 120.6 × 83.8 × 9.2mm device. Dual LTPO OLED Displays

Open the device to reveal a large 7.76-inch foldable LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a 1920 × 2713 resolution. The internal screen is engineered with a ultra-shallow crease (<0.15mm) and a flexible protective layer for a seamless viewing experience.

A 5.49-inch LTPO OLED cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Ceramic Shield protection, and a 1422 × 2088 resolution provides quick access to calls, messages, apps, and notifications without unfolding the device.

2nm A20 Pro Silicon & Massive Storage

Powered by Apple's next-generation A20 Pro chipset (2nm process node) and iOS, the iPhone Ultra is expected to deliver efficient high-performance computing for multitasking, gaming, creative applications, and foldable-optimized workflows. Storage configurations range from 256GB to 2TB, each paired with 12GB RAM and fast NVMe storage. (Corrected processor from 3nm to 2nm A20 Pro)

Advanced Dual-Camera System

The rear camera system is equipped with a 48MP Fusion wide camera featuring dual-pixel PDAF and sensor-shift optical image stabilization, alongside a 48MP ultrawide camera. (Telephoto is omitted due to ultra-thin chassis constraints).

For video, the device supports 4K recording up to 120fps, 10-bit HDR, Dolby Vision HDR, ProRes, spatial video/audio, and stereo sound recording. The front setup features dual cameras: an under-display sensor on the inner screen and a cover camera with PDAF.

Side-Mounted Touch ID & Connectivity

Due to the ultra-thin chassis, Face ID is replaced by Touch ID integrated directly into the side power button. Stay connected with 5G via Apple's custom C2 modem, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0/5.3, NFC, USB‑C, and second-generation Ultra Wideband. Emergency SOS, Messages, and Find My via satellite are also included.
